For this one, the complex colouring was achieved using a vinyl wrap onto a solid body. Some custom airbrushing on the headstock too.
This one was needed in a rush - so the stops were pulled out and it was built in a week!
We're really excited to be in talks with Cooper Stands, USA - and hope to soon have these wonderful stands in stock. You've never seen a guitar stand like this one. Cooperstand addresses the typical stringed instrument support device in a completely new and non-typical way. It's extremely stable and fits inside gig bags and most guitar cases.
Check out this video for a full demo and call back soon to find out how to get your hands on one!
Today, "THE BULL" heads off by courier to its new home with Wings For Life. Its first stop will be the Download Festival where it will be seen and signed by the likes of Metallica, The Prodigy and Black Sabbath! The guitar will eventually be auctioned in March 2013, to raise much needed funds for Wings For Life's work and research into spinal cord injury.
If you'd like to spend some time reading up on how I made this one off custom, its all in the Red Bull Project Blog.
